Food for Thought-The Sanity of Our Madness

The sanity of our madness,
Reaching beyond the cabinets,
For the barren bottles,
No longer there,
Of Lithium taken all the way,
Highs long gone,
To climb another day,
Clutch the sink,
Grab the empty glass,
How can I keep from singing,
As the seconds pass,
And my mind fades,
Like the violent labor,
of a warm night,
wrestling the birth,
of an unknown day.
